Christina Carlson named 2011 ACE RI Mentor of the Year

Christina Carlson has received the 2011 ACE RI "Mentor of the Year" award. Christina has served as an ACE RI mentor for three years and was elected by student participants for her outstanding dedication and commitment to the program. ACE is a national oranization that offers professional mentorship to high school students interested in careers in architecture, engineering and construction fields.

This year, Christina was a mentor for the student group which won national recognition in the 2011 CIRT - ACE Mentor Design Competition for "Best Presentation Boards" for their Quonset Military Retirement Village project.
